Lou Mongello:

Hello my friend and welcome to the Audio guides to Walt Disney World. I am Lou Mongello and I am so glad you're here. If we haven't met yet, let me quickly introduce myself.

y into a full time career. In:

I'm now the host of WDW Radio, a podcast that's been sharing Disney history, details, top 10 stories, interviews and more for nearly 20 years. And I'm even honored to be a member of the Podcast Hall of Fame.

And together we have created an incredible community which is more like family and share our love for the Disney Parks, Disney Cruise Line and experiences through a variety of mediums and channels including live video, our Facebook group blog, in person events and group trips on Disney Cruise Line and adventures by Disney and much more. These audio guides to Walt Disney World are something I am incredibly proud of.

hese Audio Tours began around:

But instead I wanted to create an experience that I could share with as many people as possible and make it as easily accessible in every way.

And over the years I've walked through the parks (I live right behind Magic Kingdom), capturing these moments to share not just the history and details, but really the feeling of being there.

So whether you're walking right down the middle of Main Street USA or exploring the hidden corners of Liberty Square, these guides are going to help you experience the parks in a whole new way. I want to make you feel as though you and I are walking through the park together as I point out the secrets, history and fun facts behind the magic.

And what makes these guides unique is that they're captured moments in time. Look. Walt Disney World is constantly changing.

And while some of the attractions or details I mention may no longer be there, these guides remain relevant, valuable and hopefully fun. They are a snapshot of the magic perfect for planning your next trip, reminiscing about past visits or just daydreaming about Disney from home.

We'll start on Main Street USA and in each episode, all over an hour long each, I'll be your personal tour guide through the secrets, history and fun facts behind the magic of every land in the park, including the now extinct Mickey's Toontown Fair. Like I said, these are snapshots in time, and I created these guides because I wanted to help you connect with the parks on a much deeper level.

For me, the magic of Disney has always been about the stories, the ones that imagineers tell through design, the ones we create with our families, and the ones that inspire us long after we leave. And I hope that these guides will inspire you as well.

So whether you've been to Walt Disney World a hundred times or are planning your first visit, there's something here for everyone. And after you listen, I'd love to hear about your favorite moments or new things you noticed. Thanks to the guides.

Please share them with me in the WDW Radio Clubhouse on Facebook at WDWRadio.com/Clubhouse. It's where our incredible community of Disney fans come together in a fun, friendly, family friendly location to celebrate and share the magic together. And if you love Disney Park's history, guides, interviews and more, please make sure to subscribe to WDW Radio.

I dive even deeper into Disney stories there, including interviews with imagineers, top 10 lists, guides, live shows, and reviews from the park.
